  • That`s very cool man, would one be able to slide a weight plate down the Macebell to increase weight?

  • Most definately. The end of the macebell handle has a hilt on it that is too big to slide weight plates over, however I link a chain through the the weight plate and hang it off the end of the macebell head.

  • Thanks man, One more question have you ever tried Sledgehammers? My Boxing coach makes us hit tires with them(Old school boxing training) I use a 20lb and that one makes me tired after a few minutes. Tourqe Athletic has them going up to 150lbs!

  • Yes, I has access to a 25lb-30lb sledge hammer or I guess maul and have done some training like that too. I do a lot of work with heavy kettles maces and some heavy home made clubs. I have seen the warhammers on torque and been seriously wanting one. You are right, sledge work builds up serious arms for strong punches and the ability to keep throwing them.

  • the shaolin monk chill'n in the back is awesome.

  • He was awesome and changed my life forever.

  • Glad you are really have fun with the Macebell Kevin!

  • LOL, its a buddhist monk :)

  • From my personal experience yes. Its the diffrence in length. The clubbell developed "more" upper back/pulling muscles, hips, shoulder and grip power for me. The Macebell because it's longer and causes more pull/torque was really able to force me to stabalize my core muscles and really fatigue and open up my chest and work my arms. I love them both. However each are a complete conditioning tool in their own right. I would suggest taking on the 45lb clubbell first, before the 15kg macebell.

  • good job is there a difference in strenght gains between a clubbell and a macebell?
