  • 0:02 i knew its gonna be malaika

  • @AksheeShadow While I agree with you.. the song is horrible...

  • see my site

  • for example, if malaika arora khan were to be ur mother n u saw her in this as a 4 year old you would be horrified to see your mom act like this. so this disgusted terrified feeling may stay with you forever in reference to this song. but if you only saw it at age 18 you wouldn't react the same way and it would probably not affect you at all because you are old enought to understand.

  • smoking isn't banned where i live but i wasn't implying kids will go out and do what they see on screen. and yes that's exactly what i meant, the effect of a movie can happen on anyone but the younger you are when you see it the more strongly based your reactions will be. if i had never seen karan arjun till today i wouldn't be so horrified by the dieing scene as i was when i was little. but my reaction when i was little still affects me today so i have a certain attitude towards that movie

  • @cosmicblast1 That is why smoking is banned, which is right. It affects to an mental level. but its not the same in other things. I think its pretty easy to understand, nothing too weird about this.

  • @cosmicblast1 But kids and adults both smoke by movie influence, which is why people support banning onscreen smoking. If tomorrow people shoot each other due to onscreen influence, they should rightly ban shooting scenes too. But people dont shoot because of influence. Its only smoking that they do by movie influence.

  • @cosmicblast1 if u still get affected by it, that is not because yer a child and innocent, its because its an effect of a movie...thats different from somethign affecting kids only. So long as the kids know it is only a movie there should be no problem. the problem is when they start acting for real. If the kids today know that cigarettes are harmful and should be be done in reality like on screen, then there is no problem in showing onscreen smoking.

  • right.. but the image will stick longer than logic usually does for children

and i addressed that already, even knowing it's not real doesn't remove what they saw or how they felt about it. to this day i can't get through that movie without crying and i'm sure i'm not the only one. i know it's not real. that's not the point. the point is that there is a mental image/emotion that comes with that and children are very likely to be affected in a bad way by it

  • we see it happen. the same way, all children are likely to be a little bit affected by anything they see and i didn't mean that they will go out and do the same thing, but that they will be hurt by it. as the become teenagers like you said, their heads will know theirs parents would never do any such thing, but in their heart it will always hurt just a little bit to think about these things and they way their parents present themsleves even in years to come. does that make a little more sense?
