Relationships are an important part of our lives and even with all the advances in social media and communication, the keys to having and maintaining the healthy relationships remain the same.
Jeremiah 30: 17 says I will give you back your Health and heal your wounds.
Many times in our relationships we have relational wounds and emotional wounds like bitterness, fear, lack of fulfillment, loneliness, low self esteem, and resentment, used or abused
When our Hearts get wounded many times we keep dressing the wounds but we don't address the core issue which is the health of our hearts.
We understand the very core of all your relationships is all about your heart. It doesn't matter whether you are married, single or divorcee whatever basic ingredients of health in happy relationships is the same.
If your heart is not right you don't know how to guard your heart. If you have vertical relationship with God, then you know how to conduct healthy happy horizontal relationships with each other.
If you want successful, healthy, and happy relationships you need to guard your heart.
Prov 4:23 says keep your Heart with all diligence for out of it spring the issues of life..
Are we guarding our hearts?
If we are not guarding our hearts, we are not able to stay on path that God has for us in life and our relationships.
We are living in an information age, We receive information both good and bad from television, Internet, Daily news papers, radio, etc.. The simple fact is your senses absorb all these medium of information more than you realize. Your eyes see it, your ears hear it therefore the need to guard your heart.
From Proverbs 4: 20-27, we understand that heart is the core of your mind, the motivation of your will, and the seat of your emotions. And the eyes and ears are the gateways of your HEART.
If you want to check your heart listen what your mouth says when you are all alone with yourself, when your spouse is not in your room. Heart is messed up with all kinds of stuff evil thoughts, addictions, pornography, your heart is the problem not your wife, husband, kids, your heart is the main problem
When you face temptations your heart will allow you to give 100 reasons try to argue like attorney to convince that you deserve that sin. So don't follow your heart, if you follow your heart, it leads you to go after sin and continually going out to make more mistakes. If you follow your heart you get hurt yourself and the people around you.
Every night I have a ritual in guarding my house, locking the doors and windows, similarly what steps are we taking to guard our hearts?
Here is an awesome good news Jesus says when we surrender our hearts to Him He gives us a new heart, and a clean heart.
No one is good only good comes from Jesus, Only Jesus can change your heart.
Today's choices affect tomorrow's results. So guard your heart and avoid the wounds in first place.

We can guard our hearts with the word of GOD, PRAYER, HOLYSPIRIT, and CHOICES.
Most of our relationships are heavily affected by the choices we make. Hence align our choices with the word of God and Gods will
When your whole heart focused on Him you get healthy satisfied and blessed life.

Remember our natural hearts are wicked but God has the cure, God can cleanse and renew our heart! Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you
