Australian guitarist Michael Fitzgerald playing the first movement of the sonatina by Federico Moreno Torroba. The guitar is a 2005 cedar Simon Marty. This was recorded by students of the Communications department at Newcastle University.

  • Very nicely done, one of my favorite pieces. You should look for an album by Segovia called "My favorite Spanish Encores" it's not available on CD but you can find the LP on Amazon. It has a great version of Sonatina..

  • Very soft and beautiful playing, with good left and right hand technique. Looks like a student of Segovia !!! Even though this piece can only be mastered by mast Segovia, this is good playing too. Thanks mate and good look with your career.

  • sounds ghood. well rounded technique...could use a petrucci style fast as buggery chromatic section tho haha
