shameful & criminal negligence of our media towards it. But he does show the silver lining & advocates that the situation

is not as desperate as portrayed by the media. Thus asking us not to lose hope & display our true spirit as a Muslim Nation. Indeed he is doing a great job by saying 'Kalima-e-Haq' even in such circumstances.

After all this scheming is over and someone reaches their goals of either (God Forbid) destabilizing Pakistan or Pakistan staying put, us Pakistanis should whole-heartedly and at a cost of personal safety and sacrifice, in the name of Jihad, go to tribal areas and support education and try to modernize Mudrassah system. Because the media hid a particular piece of information does not follow that "everything" they report is false. So this does not negate their report that Taliban burnt girls school. And if you refuse to believe the media on the Taliban, regard "bullshit" eyewitness testimony, then what type of "evidence" do you accept? Your position borders on the absurd.

I like Zaid Hamid. But I don't agree with everything he says. Also, it is not "urban legends" that Taliban banned girls education. It's a fact. I have heard eyewitness testimony about it from many Afghan friends from areas such as Kandahar. Also, Taliban in Sawat area burnt hundreds of girls schools a while ago. Our media reported this. Is this too an "urban legend"?
