@sockerdood11 One is a Heads/Cam/etc 3.8L V6. It dyno's about the same power as a stock 99-04 GT. There's a video of it on here. The Foxbody is still a 2.3L N/A 4-cylinder for now, but obviously that won't be there forever. The current plan is an SVO-esque 2.3L Turbo, but that's not set in stone just yet.

@sockerdood11 Yeah, stock suspension definitely doesn't keep it from being a blast to drive. Probably a good choice on upgrading the brakes, though. You can never have too good of brakes. Sounds like you've got plenty of options for cars to drive at the track :)

As for you stangs, what's under the hood? 5.0's or 4.6's? We're also looking into a SN95 mustang for my sister so we all can drive. I drive a 2007 gt500 while racing, which is my mom's, but I hope to have my ion red line out there soon

It's a blast to drive. It's no the easiest but that's what makes it great. The suspension is bone stock (as you can tell with the accessive amount of body roll) but I wouldn't want it any other way. We plan on finishing our 3rd gen camaro within the next few weeks and hopefully be able to race that too
A friend of ours has a machine shop where he can do all kinds of crazy shapes with metal. I got the drive shaft for the rear wheels made by him while the front is from a dodge stealth (not sure what year). It's not adjustible (yet) but that will come with some time and research. Right now it has a 60/40 front/rear split which isn't bad since it was mainly just to prevent torque steer. Aftermarket pullies and exhaust give it that extra power. I hope to have a video of my 12.49 1/4 time up soon.

It's what we do as a family. And as a 17 year old I think I'm pretty lucky. My sister and I usually try to see who can get a faster lap. She's in a grand national right now but want a mid-90s cobra. My ion redline makes about 304 hp at all four wheel through a homemade AWD system that I built. My mom isn't reall ordinary on her 07 Shelby. She's almost faster than my dad sometimes. But keep me updated on the mustangs. They sound pretty cool. Especially the SVO

@sockerdood11 Wow... homemade AWD. Any pictures/info on that? Very cool... and great power as well. That LSJ Ecotec is a pretty good little engine. I'm sure I'll post information up here as the projects progress.

It's just what we do as a family. If we're not doing a road course we're drag racing.
The mustang that has plans for the SVO motor....are you gonna have a stock turbo on it or opt for something bigger?

@sockerdood11 That's cool. I've been trying to slowly get my wife into open track stuff, too. If I end up going with the SVO motor (I have the shortblock, head, etc, in my garage already), it'll be built up, for sure. Probably ported head, bigger turbo, cam, etc.
