Have owned the MP3 250ie for 3 years, no problems. Last May it stopped standing on its own. Locking device malfunction. No service department in my area can fix the damn thing. It is now 7+ moths without the bike. Getting very little satisfaction form anybody. When you think about purchasing the MP3 make sure your dealership has the up to date software to analyze any possible problem. I would have thought that a company like Piaggio would do anything required to satisfy a longtime customer.

I got to get me one of these

@opmike343 Ahh, guess you're right there...bit put off though considering my friend has fell off his twice, both times over someone's car. xD But that could just be him.

There are several hundred million people who have no trouble on 2 wheels. You'd be fine with practice assuming you don't have some medical issues in your inner ear or something affecting equilibrium. That said, this little MP3 looks like it would be an awesome little commuter.

4:19 there are parts brushing on the road surface that causing the sound. I think you still cannot ride the scooter like some sports bike.

I just bought one. It's an awesome ride. Commute, highway, 2-up, etc. Is comfortable too. My other bike is an '05
ZX-10 and I find myself riding the MP3 more. The ZX-10 may just end up as a track bike. MP3 does 80mph like nothing !
I recommend it !
