I went there. My great grandfather was good friends with the builder of the arch. Also a very famous artist!

As a former Arch employee I loved working on does it swayed. The allowed sway is actually 9 inches either direction, 18 inches total, not 18 each direction

ive been in the arch while its swaying, its kinda scary but, its not like its swaying where you would be pushed from left to right, you can barely feel it, the scariest thing about it is riding in the elevator while its swaying O.O
