Rocket Stove CHP

Rocket Stove with sterling engine providing combined heat recovery and power.

The rocket stove is fed with wood chip, which creates a highly efficient burn (80% +) and this heats water, while also providing a cooking surface. The hot water is then used, along with a cold water supply, to create a heat differential that powers a sterling engine. This then turns a dynamo that trickle charges a battery bank, providing electricity. The idea is based on a permaculture principle - as many functions as possible from one element.
