No other organization in the world is as diverse and accepting as GLIDE, located in one of the roughest neighborhoods in San Francisco. Yet for 50 years, the Reverend Cecil Williams and Janice Mirikitani have battled to make sure no one is denied essential services like food, shelter, healthcare and many more support services and that everyone is empowered to guide their own lives.
