Ron Paul can keep talking until the day he die. The only thing he can do is make the masses aware of the corrupt nature of our govt. The true changes has to happen from the Citizens. That means Us!

I wish Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich would talk more and keep explaining the system of fractional reserve banking to their fellow members of congress. It is at the root cause of all the economic problems that we have and is the reason why every nation has a central bank.

I think you misconstrued what I meant by "not even possible". I was saying that a society of boy scouts was not possible. I believe the free market, although difficult to achieve, would be possible. And I disagree that relying on the market cannot help. The market is the only thing that CAN help. Any "solution" pushed by government that goes against the natural direction of the market will be ineffective at best and disastrous at worst.

Tom, our debate has become the typical academic debate, Keynesian vs. austrian school of economics. I dont have a devotion to either, since both are inherently flawed, as they both have dogmatic views that dont change with the times. I'll only speak for myself by saying NOT having faith in free market forces (unregulated sector) nor placing myself at the mercy of govt. regulated interest rates has only helped me financially. Obviously not that much or I wouldn't be here on yutube, but enough..
