I really don't know why they would make fun of Pentecostals. I guess they don't have enough faith to believe in the gifts of the Spirit. Jesus was mocked too, even while on the cross. So you're in good company brother.

@micjohny You are wrong- you need to know Christ and not to strive for experiences.

There are different levels to knowing christ. As Apostle Paul mentioned - we can not always be fed with milk, but we need to have meat also. So knowing Christ is not just accepting Him as Personal savior. We need to walk with Him and grow in Him. If Jesus felt that just knowing Him was enough, then there never would have been the day of Pentecost, in which all disciples gathered started speaking in tongues, etc. etc..

Amen and Amen to a faithful immutable God

this song brings tears to my eyes any time i listen to it. there is a huge gap in my life since my grandfather died. i think of him all the time. but everything is still moving on and we need to except it. i now i will see him someday. and i hope all of you will too. god bless us all
