I get a speed reading off the side of a building which isn't moving. This video goes to show what is know as "Slip effect" where the panning or moving of the laser gun's beam along the side of an object a speed reading can be obtained whether the object is moving or not. This video shows mainly shows how I can get a speed reading off an object that isn't moving

  • @adamwitt10 Well I was actively trying to get panning error, thats why... Laser guns can be properly operated through glass, its explained in manuals for the gun. Turn on 'rain-mode' which and the guns inner computer will compensate.

There are plenty of exceptions to science. Its not cut and dry like you think.

Laser technology and mini-computers in the gun compensate for issue you think exist.... Google "laser gun through windshield"

  • @robm425

If you are so trained in using them why is your panning error so fucking ridiculous? You moved about 5 degrees in a space of half a second.

Regardless of the reason of your shoddy operation of the gun, My point remains. Shooting through glass affects the accuracy of the guns. To suggest otherwise is retarded and you should repeat year 10 science.

  • @adamwitt10 Yeah but I AM NOT SHOOTING THROUGH ANY GLASS!!!!!!! Its called a panning error I have been trained on how to properly operate laser guns from radar/lidar operators instructors as all.

And if you read my first supply it would have told you I wasn't shooting though and glass at all the sliding glass door was 100% open and I was shooting from behind and glass. If the gun was in working order I would replicate the test again unfortunately I can't. at :09 you can see handle of open door

Your real world experienced is filmed and uploaded on youtube, and it tells me a house is moving at 11mp/h.

At the end of the day if you put a prism in the way of light, the light is going to refract at a certain angle. If it is reflected then comes back into the prism, its going to get refracted twice. It's not bullshit, it's physics. You said yourself the laserguns are not accurate, one of the reasons is because of light refraction. You make the problem worse by going through glass.

  • @adamwitt10 So you are saying that a laser gun can't work properly through glass? Well my real world experience says otherwise and I'll take that anyday over your BS

  • @robm425 Do you even know what a prism is? The glass IS a prism. If the cop has the gun even SLIGHTLY angled downwards or upwards, the reflection of the laser will not return the same as if the glass wasnt there. Go draw a diagram of the light refracting through a layer of glass, then bouncing off a reflective surface on the other side, then going through the glass again. Then compare to drawing of no glass.

Go and google this thing called a "Rainbow" for another example of an effective prism.

  • @adamwitt10 Keep thinking that but its not....Thats why officers shoot through wind shields and laser gun companies have it in their manual how to shoot through glass

Angles don't change unless the glass is a prism

  • @adamwitt10 The sliding glass door and screen door are completely open so glass doesnt have any effect.

Laser can be properly shot through windshields with no issues

  • @robm425

The laser light refracts when going through glass, it changes angles. Therefore it is definitely affected. Lasers can even be confused by a change in temperature and density of the air above the road.

  • @mrattu I know your comment was old . But I just like telling every PIG I can to go fry in hell ......... sooner
