Here is my 2010 update of a 2003 classic. Star Wars: The Hunt was one of my very first films/special effects projects. Long story short, the original footage was lost along with the original audio, so we pulled everyone back together for voice over, laid down a fresh sound track and sound fx track, new special effects, and I did my best to save and restore what little terrible footage I had left. Enjoy one of my very first After Effects projects. The story of the making of The Hunt is a hilarious one indeed, stay tuned for the audio commentary track.
First to Comment! It's really cool how you were able to duplicate the actual special effects from the Movies. And despite the choice of location for the fight, it was still awesome! I suggest finding a place with fewer cars around next time but other than that, it was all great!

@MrSuperheroFan We'll back then we didnt really care about the location, I was helping them out with a project for school. But of coarse doing films now, location would be very important! lol

@Nephuxs
so the film was produced in 2003 and then you went back and redid the light saber/laser blaster special effects with more powerful computers / programs / and knowledge of F/X?

@jackhammer10101 - This crapfest was done for my friends old high school project back in the day. About a year later all the fotoage was lost, only remained a final comp with no sound. So what we did, mainly for fun, was reunite and re-dub the footage, put a new opener and closer in it, and redid the sound, only a few minor minor effect details were changed. This was mainly just for fun, we are all aware of the crapiness of it! :-)
