Time for a bit of KOF comparison.
Now, a lot of people say that KOF 97 was the best KOF in the series. I agree, somewhat. It is definitely the best KOF, story wise. But in terms of gameplay, 98 was more polished and had more characters and 2000 had better gameplay alltogether. Not to mention both games have music.(and THAT'S always a plus.) This game probably has the second best end sequence though. In what other game do you fight a sub boss, a sub boss team AND a final boss? I can't think of any, though 98 still had the best boss to me, just thinking about that boss sends chills down my spine. But we'll get to that
when I do 98 later. Continuing 97.
MVP = Athena/Kensou
Looking at the transitioning of the background from round to round, the correct order in the Orochi Team fight should be Shermie, Chris, lastly Yashiro.

You'll also have a bonus fight after the boss when you're Kyo. It's against Iori and it ends as a cliffhanger.

Yeah, I got to this part with the God's Calibre team, (Kyo, Iori, Chizuru) and I fought Leona. But I gotta say, her intro to this fight is some pretty creepy stuff.
