@tjbyrum1 Maybe you don't identify with the songs and they make you feel depressed because in your soul - you are without God, apart from him. So the songs disturb you in a deep spiritual way?

LOL, we're getting nowhere fast here, aren't we! lol! I don't find these kinds of songs depressing at all. I actually find that they do the exact opposite. Like I said these kinds of songs are praises to God, that in itself is reason to be joyous, not depressed. Regarding my offer to talk: I was inviting you to join me for a chat if you felt the need or urge to discuss why we differ in our views and why Jesus is our Saviour.
