'Almost There' was on the 'B' side of 'On the Street Where You Live' - the hit to be as far as CBS Records were concerned. But, being a little rebel with a cause at the time of its release, I, along with others later, played it again and again, on the pirate Radio Caroline. The keyboard sounds a bit different and there is no harmony on the second chorus.

I saw I'd Rather be Rich at the cinema and then went straight out and bought the LP with this beautiful song on it. I still love it as much today as I did the first time I heard it.
