Flash Airlines Flight 604 departs Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport
in Egypt for Paris. Just after take-off, the aircraft banks right and
goes off course. The pilot corrects the roll but the aircraft banks right
again. This time the pilot does not correct the roll. The Boeing 737
rolls further and descends into the Red Sea 9 km south of Sharm el-
Sheikh. Everyone on board is killed. The cause of this disaster is
disputed.

30:11 They say the spoilers help turn the aircraft. Is that correct? I thought they had nothing to do with turning and only to do with slowing the plane down,..hence also called air brakes.

looks like the Power control unit to the rudder? Boeing 737-300 has had this trouble in other crahes.

Two things of note:

1. This is not the only time the Egyptians have argued against a finding that criticizes a member of Egyptian crew or pilot and then ignoring evidence to then blame a crash on technical faults.

2. It so stupid to protest against not having information on a crash! You want the investigators to find the correct cause, So don't pressure them into giving a pre-mature announcement!
