In the beginning she sounds just like Dinah Washington. She has her own sound but she sounds very similar to Dinah. Wonderful!

Faye Adams is one of the all time greats. Her "Shake A Hand" is a masterpiece, and it was covered to rockabilly perfection by the Mike Pedicin Quintet on 20th Century Records (and later on Cameo).
