Michel Legrand accompanies Meow Meow with "Sans Toi"

Legendary Composer Michel Legrand accompanies the star of 'The Umbrellas of Cherbourg', Meow Meow, in role of Maitresse in the show. They perform the torch song "Sans Toi" which appears in Kneehigh's new production of 'The Umbrellas of Cherbourg'.

This relatively little known piece of music was for me the big hit additional song into the show. So simple and melancholic, the audience hung onto every word and note. The inclusion's a great tribute to Agnes Varda. ...........Its the feeling of like going up to heaven.
