The sequence from 5:06 - 5:10 is spectacular. The acute awareness to make the steal, and you could literally count the seconds he flies down the court for the dunk. Its one big blur, and that is the "Air Jordan" that none of these Kobe and Lebron freaks never saw. While his greatness was apparent in 1996-1998....the 1987-1993 Jordan was a monster!

I read from Jordan fans that MJ was at his prime during 85-93,that at his first comeback, 96-98, he was not that great.The only difference in my opinion is he learned to play as a jump shooter without leting us forget though in many games that he could jump. His was still unstoppable, he still averaged 30 ppg in 96 and 97 (unless 29,6 in 1997 is not 30) and in 1998 he had a problem with his wrist that took his free throw percent average down, if it werent for that he would still get 30 ppg.

The Kobe Jordan comparisons should stopped this season, Kobe has already played more games than MJ. MJ only played 900 and something games while he was on the Bulls and Kobe is already played near 1100 and his accolades & achievements don't even come close to MJs. For Christ's sake, MJ averaged 30.0 PPG for his career, it would be a point or two higher if he didn't make a third comeback with the Wizards.

I am a lebron fan, lived in chicago and watched the jordan years jordan is the greatest ever. I dont like kobe one big. Lebron at 25 is an all around better player than Kobe right now so the kobe jordan comparasons can really be shut down.
