  • For Louis XIV Lully is the same like Goebbels fo Hitler, a propaganda master for a piece of wood.

  • @MegaJahwe Piece of wood your mother!!!

  • I may be wrong but I'm sure that Jean Baptise Lully composed this piece of music and not Marin Marais?

  • @hot5pur11 You didn't watch the film, right? Composed by Jean Baptiste Lully, but in the movie, Marin Marais is the director of the orchestra at that moment.

  • disculpa, espero me puedas entender.

  • @hot5pur11

Yes, you are correct. Jean-Baptiste Lully composed "Marche pour la ceremonies des Tures" and not Marais. Marin Marais was Lully's student and often conducted Lully's operas and orchestral pieces at court with a large staff similar to the one shown in the movie: tous les matins du monde. Incidentally, Lully died as a result of banging the staff baton on his big toe while conducting. The toe became gangrenous, was amputated, but he nevertheless died of the infection.

  • @lalungenuictdestens your absolutely right, I didn't see the film.

  • God bless you for sharing culture and beauty!
