On October 13th, 2007, a rare event occurred on the local beaches of Brick Beach and Lavallette, New Jersey. On a pristine day where the water was gin clear and there was almost no wind or waves, MONSTER bluefish in the 15 - 17 pound range came in from deeper waters to feed on rainfish, peanut bunker, and sandeels. The following footage is amazing.

Hey guys, Thanks for checking out Bob's video. The music that is on it is from You Tube. Bob had other great music on there. "Bad Boys" I think, and You Tube wouldn't allow it. Sorry.
funny we are only a week away from Oct 13th but in `09,watching this makes me want to hit the beach. many things i dislike about NJ but good fishing isn't one of them.jersey girls, fishing and fishing for girls that's what jersey is good for. as for the music i would prefer the sound of the wind and waves over music but that is just my opinion. i tend to watch videos like this with conch shells on my ears :o)
When I saw the thousands of dead fish on a beach by me, my instinct was to blame pollution, but as I've seen in alot of videos Bluefish are amazing predators that can drive bait fish, such as all the dead bunkers I saw, right onto the beach! Great video, beautiful beach too.
