@MissSlovakia2 Wow, you know more about Slovak Americans than I do MissSlovakia. I used to watch Mikita play hockey here in Chicago. There is a sign here in Bellwood IL. that says "Welcome to Bellwood, Home of Astronaut Ed Cernan". Jon Voight is Slovak? That means his daughter Angeline Jole, the highest paid actress in Hollywood .. is Slovak. I'll have to tell this to my friends.(I always tell them that Slovaks are "The Superior Race" LOL

@nepson It is true. You may not get beaten up, but you may hear racist comments if you go out at night in some bigger city - from some drunk idiots - just like in any Eastern European country. Don't say that! I am from Ukraine and I visited Slovakia 2 times. And everybody was very welcome, even knowing that we are from Ukraine. One time i have hear rude voice, and that was they think we are madiars (hungarian). It is very easy to travel in Slovakia if you know russian and ukrainain languages

Really? Well I am really glad you had such a wonderful time in Slovakia, because I did not! I wouldn't even wanna spend 10 hours in that place, let alone 10 months! I've never been to such a place! $28 to film and photograph a damn cave! Oh, and I forgot that there are no signs to the tourist attractions! They don't want tourists there! I thought I would like it, it seemed charming! It is beautiful, but that country and its people need help! Never seen any place or people like it!

In a world, where tourists get money ripped off them, you have to pay $28 to film and photograph it's most beautiful cave, restaraunt and hotel workers are rude, tourists aren't welcome, the people are grumpy and don't speak English, and the tourism industry is none existant! You'll discover a country in the heart of Europe, that very few people visit for obvious reasons! Once you visit, you'll never want to go back again! Slovakia, really, bad, holiday!
