  • Great video! Avery accurate overview, though the one thing they miss was his huge influence on college sports, keeping it from becoming a total obsession & requiring academics first. While the rules and regs are often bent or broken by some colleges or administrations, they still provide a benchmark.

The other thing they missed in the video? He knew every student's name&face,&would greet you with a heartfelt hello. Amazing man. One word INTEGRITY. Only the Dalai Lama has earned the same respect

  • I got to meet Father Hesburgh on April 16, 2010. What a true man, blessing, and excellent enlightenment. He is 93 years old and still able to inspire young men and women. Thank you Father Hesburgh for your time and legacy! This will change my life forever... Change the world!

  • God Bless you Father Hesburgh

  • What a wonderful tribute to one of the finest people to walk on this Earth. Thank you Father Ted.
