Naja, Morphing ist ja ein überstrapazierter Begriff. Aber in Bezug auf die Übergänge von Spline-basierten Kurven ist Morphing tatsächlich mal zutreffend. Es handelt sich hier prinzipiell um denselben Effekt wie das Morphing, das man von Filmeffekten her kennt. Dabei werden zwei unterschiedliche Formen anhand von Kurveninterpolation ineinander übergeführt.
