Fanvid centered around Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet. Magnetism; attract, repel... attract, repel... there are so many forces working for and against them. Both the hunter and the hunted are those in love, theoretically speaking of course, the gun can turn on any of them... we sometimes even turn it on ourselves. Pride and prejudice are the bullets of unnecessary pain, yes? And yet we bare them so naturally.
Hence the song Shoot Me Down by Boy Kill Boy. "You never knew, never should... I didn't do this for you..." Reminiscent of certain denial both hold. This song is deliciously ironic and sardonic and I am totally convinced Caroline's face at 1:46 totally epitomizes this. XD The woman was a first class witch as was Lady Catherine de Bourg but the true enemy was of course pride and prejudice.
I, myself, have experienced a relationship that could rival Darcy & Lizzie's. ;D One filled with wonder and contradictions, sympathy and yet cynicism. I do not aggrandize when I say it was almost 'forbidden' considering all the opposing forces. Turned many days to nights and left my world spinning, birthing an unpredictable creative entity. It's hard to walk now on my own without feeling a bit off balance and with one too many questions to answer and choices to make. That is quite scary, however, beautiful... and proof that love is interconnection and is very much messy and alive even though a relation has long since ended (it's sentimentality). Love is a long and complicated story, as is the movie, as is the book, as is my video (I HOPE XD)...
This is 1 of 2 videos I posted involving this movie, which run with a similar concept. But I don't know why I insist on making videos when Windows Movie Maker has been giving me such difficulty. I need to upgrade! MY KINGDOM FOR ADOBE PREMIERE!
