  • @noaqwertz a dress watch is not suposed to be over 40mm i think :) id prefer it if it was even smaller !

  • @SengKiat93 It´s just for aesthetic reasons. If you had number 4 written as IV it wouldn´t balance with the number 8 which is VIII on the left side of the watch, so they use IIII so that the watch face looks balanced. That´s the only reason. Personally I would prefer it if they used IV ;)

  • @SengKiat93 It's said, that in Roman times, they didn't use IV for 4, because IV are the first two letters of the name of their king of the gods, Iupiter (IVPITER, as it was written).
