It's one thing if the cross is above an individuals grave. It's another matter if it's a huge cross which gives the impression it's a Christian graveyard. How do you think this makes Jews or Muslims or (gasp) atheists feel who are going there to remember their loved ones who also were not Christians?

Yathink? Tell me anytime....give me one example of when an individual student has been told they can't pray on school grounds. Regarding praying before a football game, first of all, why would you think this infinite being would give a rat's patooty about your stupid game and who wins? Secondly, how would you feel if a Muslim came on the PA and told everyone to prostrate themselves toward Mecca for a Muslim prayer?

How is having a cross in a public cemetary "forcing" anything? No one is rounding up unbelievers and forcing them into church, reading the Bible or accepting Christ. In regards to the Constitution, the separation between church and state relates to the fact that the founding fathers didn't want a state run church, such as the Vatican or the Church of England (Anglican Church).

Since when does the religious populace need the government to "uphold their belief?" I think what you really mean is to force the beliefs of the majority on to the minority. This is usually what Christians call "religious liberty." They somehow think their religion is being put down, just because someone doesn't want it forced down their throat.

Yeah, he is such an awful person for seeing to it that a man who raped and murdered two teenage girls by strangling them and stomping on thier throats was put to death. He is such an awful person for upholding a representation of the beliefs of 90% of the population. So, I guess my question is, what other petty, insignificant argument are you going to throw next?

When the federal government can come to your local school and tell kids they cannot pray, or tell a Catholic institution they must provide abortifacient drugs, or stop students from saying a prayer before a football game, and so on, this is a loss of religious freedom that we once had. BTW, your handle speaks volumes and explains your position.
