Read the book Salvador wrote about himself, it's called The Secret Life of Salvador Dali, it will help you get to know him a lot better than any interview could, plus it's really interesting, well-written (in a way that reflects his style), and has cool pictures!!

Is he comparing himself to Charlie Chaplin in the art of acting? LOL In my opinion Dali is the greatest painter of 20th century, but at the same time, he was a really messed up person.

Honestly I've researched Dali quite extensively and have even visited his home town of Figueres and he is probably the biggest asshole ever.

The interviewer just doesn't get it, does he? Art is subjective. An artist does not aim to entertain or contribute or please people. Art is all about expression of self authenticity.
