I agree with you, Mr Maxwell. We all know about fractals now, but Dali using the fractal examples of the cauliflower and the rhinoceros horn was just way beyond Mike Wallace's comprehension. Dali was from the future.

Your local library should have at least a few of his writings. I think his work on integrating mathematics, physics and mysticism is a highly under rated voice in aesthetic theory.

I don't know. You need to keep in mind that many elements of the fantastical and bizarre have been more commonly exposed to the average person these days in advertisements, not to mention films and printed media in general. To someone like Mike Wallace probably the strangest thing he was exposed to was something like the Wizard of Oz. He comes off as a person genuinely trying to understand the source of many strange, and for him at this time, INTIMIDATING images and actions.
