CBR600F 2011 _ V-Trec levers _ BOS _ R&G Tail Tidy and Crash Protectors.MOV

This is my CBR600F 2011 with some after-market stuff installed on it.

- I installed my V-Trec levers again who used to be installed on my former CB600FA 09 Hornet. As you can see, fitting is the same allthough I had to file some aluminum away at the side off the clutch lever. I had do this because one off the top screws off the lever interfered with the aluminum holder. This made it impossible to pull the lever completely in while using the clutch lever. Same issue occured on my Hornet because both models use the same aluminum holders.
Took me about 1 hour work to make everything fit nicely.
The front brake lever is installed without issues or modifications.

- I've installed the R&G Tail-Tidy and Crash Protectors. The holes in the fairing were made with a genuine R&G 28mm hole saw. Worked as a charm. Very nice those R&G products, highly recommended !

- My BOS carbon slip-on, before also installed on my Hornet. As you can see, it fits like a charm.

Nice video. i got myself one of these 2 weeks ago (but in blue). Which tail tidy is it you have installed? (official one or other brand) and do you have any water spray issues with the new tidy? (issues like getting a dirty or wet back from spray kicked up from the rear)

@sippycam - my screen rattled/buzzed at 4000rpm so i took it back after 2 days an they fitted a piece of foam to it which cured the buzz

@PooonTangJuice It's the original R&G tail tidy. Spray issues ? I try to avoid driving in the rain actually so I can't give you an answer on that one ;)

have any issues with windshield rattle? My windshield on my 600FAB is driving me slightly crazy. I think I need to pull it off and add some tape around it. I'm getting the Tail Tidy next week after seeing your video. How do you feel it changes the bike for you?

No, not yet and I hope it stays that way ;) No rattle.

I love the looks off the bike, but I hated the backside right away from the first moment. R&G had the perfect solution for me :p Installing the Tail Tidy mechanically is easy. I only had to do some soldering to make the license plate light to work and because the light is one with led's ... you need to be watching the polarity. Anyway, good decision to buy one. You will love it ;)

It sucks i have to choose between a Fz6 and a gsx650f and cant go with this! The US sucks ins o many ways! Be glad you dont have to drool over a bike you cant have. Cant get over how nice you bike looks !

@feckthisiamoutofhere Ride and MCN quite liked it - the mid-range bikes are pretty strong sellers as people are starting to realise that fully committed supersports are just stupid for 90% of road riding. I'm looking at either one of these or a Street Triple for next year.

Do they ? Nothing wrong with this bike though. I love driving it, It's a nice commuter with just enough power to make it easy to ride or to have some fun with it from time to time.

Same engine-block as the hornet's since 2007, I gues the frame is exactly the same too but I'm not 100% shure. Maybe the steeringangle is slightly different.

So if reviews of the hornet's are good ..... ;)

She´s a beauty! The BOS looks good on it, but the 600F could also do with the standard exhaust, at least look-wise, in my opinion.
