Pean samuti Eestit Põhja-Euroopaks, kuid kahjuks me ei saa lähiminevikku olematuks teha ja kahjuks mõlgub see paljudel välismaalastel meeles. Olen piisavalt väärarvamusi Eestist kummutanud, kuid kurb tõsiasi on, et tihti seostatakse meid idaga. 1) I am Estonian and know Estonia's geopolitical location full well.

2) I was relating how other Europeans quite often perceive us. I wasn't saying that I believe their opinion to be true.

@dottedpig sorry but Estonia a part of Northen Europe. Eastern Europe actualy it is slavic and orthodox countries. :) Normal european for me, it is man who know about all European countries.

I don't really understand what you're trying to say with your comment, and I guess you misunderstood my comment, too. My point was just to disprove your assertion that every "normal" European knows where Estonia is - it's often seen as a mere fragment of that mess called Eastern Europe. :)

@dottedpig I also don't know about all Balkan countries (I can show on map where is located Bosnia, Albania, Croatia and Serbia, but in mynd I don't know very good. But Estonia is not Balkan, maybe you also don't know about Sweden and Finland (They are also near Estonia). Maybe, some childrens in UK also thinked that Scotland located in Irland. And don't knowing about Wales.

And of course also some adults thinked that Turkey, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in Europe. XD
