  • good advice to all.....go out and buy a garrett ace-250 metal detector (best for the money) and check out all those abandoned farms........check first outside areas visible from the kitchen and master bedroom window. All over the usa there is hoards of money burried usually in glass mason jars from when the banks failed in the 1930s. Many times the owner died and no one knew where he buried his stash....even after the depressin many still did not trust banks.........happy hunting

  • @inkey2 Thanks for the advice :) I don't think I would of trusted the banks after the depression...I honestly don't trust the banks now :)

  • Nice job!

  • @satisfaction2000 Thank you :)

  • thank-you

  • wow, what a great place to explore! Thanks for posting this.

I have a few abandoned places videos myself if you want to check them out...

  • Diamond shaped windows were very out of place in that time period. Does nothing to enhance the house.

  • OMG< the inside looked nice compared to the outside. Possible hope for the house??

  • This house looks like it was abandoned more recently, I'm guessing within the past twenty years. At 1:04 in the view of the bedroom, note the ceiling fan at the top of the picture. This indicates that the house was refurbished at some point, at least after the time when electricity became more available in rural areas.

  • @gtvl77 back when I was about 17 (in 1971) I went out to indiana to visit my grandparents. I can't go too specifically into the details but apparantly, back then (lol, maybe now too), it was quite common for anyone with a van or pick-up truck to just pull up to these old homes and drag out incredible stuff left there from the 1930s.....like beautiful large oak tables, mirrors etc. Of course alot of these things needed to be refinished but they were beautiful

  • the stories these walls could tell... i would love to find a place like this around west virginia abbandoned in the woods or somthing. be the first one to find it since it had been left for some reason

  • This is reminiscent of many old farmhouses that I have seen and I always like them. The diamond shaped windows are very nice. It's really a shame that it's abandoned because it certainly looks like it can be restored. Great music :) -Michael
