@buddhasknowbest It's 8-way, like every commercial arcade stick available. 4-way joysticks only register inputting a single direction at a time, they're used for games like Pac-man and... I don't even know, they're useless. Every fighting stick ever is 8-way, meaning it registers all positions available in the customary numpad notation (meaning 8 numpad keys + neutral "5"). I reckon you're thinking about the square gate, quite a common mistake. Of course HRAP has a square gate, but it's 8-way.

All I'm saying is, that's a dumb statement. Both perform the same, and of course a cabinet is better than an HSS-0130 - I can't plug a Cave PCB into a HSS-0130 and play now can I? Some people play more than just fighters man.
