《愛的心聲》The Voice of Love 費玉清

費玉清 Fei Yu-Ching, sometimes spelled Fei Yu Chin or Fei Yuqing (born July 17, 1955), is a famous singer from Taiwan. Born Chang Yen-ting (張彥亭 Zhāng Yàntíng). Nick name, his fans call him, is XiaoGe. Fei is not married. He was never engaged, not as the media says, as a matter of fact.
His career began in the late 1970s, started from a TV station singing contest at age of 17, and he began to build a large fan base along with his big brother Chang Fei, hosting a Award winning TV variety show. He performed several theme songs for television shows, some of which were more successful than the shows themselves. He has a mellifluous voice and has sung numerous hits such as "Goodnight Song" (晚安曲 Wǎn'ān Qǔ), "A Spray of Plum Blossoms" (一剪梅 Yī jiǎn Méi), and "Ode to the Republic of China." As of today still, "Goodnight Song" is so populer, that all the department stores in Taiwan play the song right before closing every night.
FeiYuChing won so many awards, that already filled up a roomful at his house, such as: the most populer male singer, the best male vocalist, the best show host of variety show, the best host of music show, the best song, the best album, the most achievements in singing field award, etc. so far, since 1980.
FeiYuChing engaged in a world tour of concerts in 2001. Each year, the events of his concerts are overwhelmingly increasing. In 2005, he had to terminate filming for his TV music show, and to focus on his concerts and countless of invitaions as special guest of well known events.
Because of his expertise in singing love songs, specialized in the oldies, he has won an enormous group of lady fans aged range from 20 to 90. Until 2006, many teenagers also become his fans, because of their idol Jay Chow produced a new song "千里之外" (Thousands of Miles Away) duet with FeiYuChing.
In 2006, he featured in a duet in Jay Chou's song "Thousands Miles Away". In February of 2008, he also performed during CCTV-4's Chinese New Year special, singing a solo version of "Thousands Miles Away".
FeiYuChing not only has a mellifluous voice, but also dedicates his whole life in singing. Thus, he can make every song a perfect rendition, when he sings. Believe you me! : )
