This video has actually gone on to be featured on Meshell Ndegeocellos Myspace in one of her blogs!! Crazy huh?! You can probably check it out by going on her Myspace and clicking on the blog titled "17 Years Old"

Tell me what you think anyway baring in mind i was just mucking about and stuff...

Bass - Fender Squier 5 string. I think its a p-bass with jazz pickups?!

  • hey .. just wondering how long u have been playing when u did this vid ? :) u really feel the music and thats what it is about!

  • Hey cheers...I still have a long way to go tho! And I was playing for around 4 years at that point...I got my Bass on my 13th Birthday. Damm, I've been playing 6 years now already...That sucks! Ha

  • why does it suck ?i started playing bass november 2008 and i really love it... its like an addiction..

i laughed because the first songs i've learn where :make me wanna holler(meshell) and too young to die :) i think we have a quite similar taste 4 music ... i cant wait 4 the jamiroquai tour .. and they visit my country (24.july) in austria... im soo happy about that ;P .. ok wrote enough now

  • @Kacknap92 It just sucks because I don't feel I play as well as I should for someone who has played for 6 years+ that's all...The learning curve isn't so steep any more. And yeah I guess we do have the same influences! I wouldn't mind seeing Jamiroquai myself when the tour comes about...

  • Epic man! You've got chops, you are in a band right?

  • @sth209 - Cheers dude...Slowly learning it's not all about the chops though! Yeah I'm sort of in a band at home and then I play Bass for a dude called Cosmo Jarvis for money. On tour with him right now actually. Hey checked your Bombtrack cover, nice one! You should learn that intro riff/run though...It's just a downwards blues scale in E, it's like the first track I ever learnt in a band!

    Cheers for watching the video...

  • Genious!!

    Flavy

    from Argentine

  • Hey man, you should play in the band called jamiroquai. :)

  • Hey man. Awesome sound and playing! I have this same bass. Have you noticed a decreased output on the B-string compared to the other strings? Mine is really quiet (even after changing strings) and I'm thinking it may be the pickups. Thanks!

  • @jejgalvin doesn't matter how long you have played. Some folks could play for a thousand years and not feel a thing. it's never been about chops in my opinion it's about what you've already got, as Knacknap92 said, "feel". Keep it up.

  • That is some funky shit bro, I like it

  • very nice mr moon tune, really nice
