How to play a proper bass groove with passing tones

OK, here is another improv lesson which basically shows how to stick to box pattern without getting overly boring. Sorry its another improv but I think its the best way to show an example on the spot rather than having it worked out. This gives you the pure thought process that happens when you must call upon you skillz. Hope it helps guys.

In a song like lemon song these notes would be seperated a little more and anticipations would be placed more frequently. The above example it more in the vein of a bass solo, but with a guitarist adding the chords, you can basically take this technique to outline the song and make it a monster line.
