@iskate678 Do you mind enlightening us about how your own person, undoubtedly Nobel Prize winning research differs from standard atomic theory?
-
@chemdog8 i got lots to learn...

Wow, this is exactly in my general chem book.

My chemistry proffessor left at a great deal of information compared to you. Thank you so much for clearing everything up.

@00JosefK Can you honestly tell me this man has a degree in general chemistry. Look Im no expert on this but he's got it all wrong. Im still laughing at the fact you people believe this mumbo jumbo.

how much does an atom weigh??
Ruest420 9 months ago
@Ruest420 Depends on what type of atom. An oxygen atom has a mass of 2.657 x 10^-23 grams, or 5.85 x 10^-26 pounds.

Is there any possibility of a technology being able to see detailed images of atoms anytime in the foreseeable future?...Thanks for posting these videos

@00JosefK Current Technology allows individual atoms to be imaged using atomic force microscopy. I'm not sure what you mean by "detailed" images because atoms, by their quantum mechanical nature, are mostly fuzzy.

can we see the atoms individually
wmnaqvi 1 year ago
@wmnaqvi New techniques like atomic force microscopy now allow us to construct images of the blurry outlines of individual atoms, but only in solids where they don't move around much.
