The annual Honolulu 'Ukulele Festival is undoubtedly the longest running, and most likely the foremost gathering of 'ukulele players, fans and instruments, in the world. And why shouldn't that be the case, since 'ukulele was born in Hawaii.
This year's Festival in 2010 marks the 40th anniversary of this very special celebration of Hawaii's famous and beloved instrument. And Festival organizer Roy Sakuma (now along with staff) has been teaching generation upon generation how to play 'ukulele for even longer than that.
