any reason why you don't use the interactive 'adduser' script instead of useradd? it's way easier to use especially for beginners, since they don't have to remember any switches

@sebbeks I don't use PulseAudio, and alsa is already included in the kernel.

Probably because that file is missing and firefox and chrome use a different file to load flash.

@FearedBliss related to flashplugin issue, i think it cannot load that soname because /usr/lib/kde4/kcm_adobe_flash_player.so has rpath /usr/lib/kde4/devel.
readelf -d /usr/lib/kde4/kcm_adobe_flash_player.so
