It was an airbus, and the model the guy uses is an airbus a300, tail and the nose show this.
Also the tail broke off when they used a rudder proceedure that they were taught, which caused stress on the tail

The pilot in control caused the upset, a pilot-induced oscillation , which subjected the tail to loads exceeding the certification limit x2. All the PIC had to do is let go of the rudder before the bang, and the plane would have stabilized on its own. The wake turbulence was really no big deal, but it caused the PIC to overreact, to the point he wasn't aware he was causing the upset, not the wake turbulence.

@Lifty4ever oh yes of course it was a a320! and the JAL 747 wasnt a 747 after all it was just a cessna. dude get ur facts right it was a A300. American never flew a320s.
