Some stop action animation I did in the eighties using my VHS video camera and a VCR. Just having fun testing the stop action feature on the camera. The sound came from a tape my brother made to demonstrate his new keyboard - also in the 80s. The toys were my daughter's, mostly from McDonald's and Burger King kids' meals.
It's OK, the line isn't as bad as my parents camera was, I think that most new cameras can do stop action, ours can anyway, its still really kool especially kowing how hi-tech technology was in the 80's, it's amazing for the time it was made in.
did you ever do anymore stop action videos ?

I made a few others but not worth posting here. I was just sorting through old VHS tapes and found this.

Kool, how long did that take to make ?
it would be kool if you re did it today, the new cameras are seamless with that kind of thing, and it would look real, you must have had a better camera than my parents did

Wow, it's been a while. I think it took an hour or two to shoot and then maybe another half hour to edit and merge the video and sound. Not very impressive by today's standards but not bad in its day I guess. I have a digital video camera now but don't even know if it does stop action. I've done some other types of animation in Flash.
