Liza Jane

This is just an old favorite tune that I first heard on a cassette from Augusta Heritage. The two cassette set is called "Banjo Anthology" this tune is on Volume One. I fell in love with this melody as soon as I heard it. Not sure why it's called "Liza Jane". The Reed Island rounders put this tune on their "Goin' Back" cd with Diane Jones doing this tune 100 times better than me.

@namtsewhsit Thanks so much for the kind words. I wasn't feelin very good when I made this video, getting over major surgery. In fact I am wearing my ostomy bags under my banjo...lol.
