  • Although I don't particularly like Richard Nixon, I admit that this speech is amazing. It made me forget all the hate I had for him. Even though I know about 50% of this speech is probably phony, it is beautifully spoken. He appeals to the common man by speaking about his dog and acting like he is poor. If I lived back then, I would have voted for him just because of this speech.
