done some further reading, the electrolytic refining is the Fizzer Cell Process

the electrolyte may also be a mix of sulphuric and nitric acid, that would explain the greenish colour, because pure copper suplhate is actually blue.

copper does preferentially go into solution when attacked by the electrolyte anions because it is more reactive than silver or gold, the later do not oxydize that easily.

after the copper content of the ingot gets transferred to the copper sheet you see, the leftover slime will contain the more inert silver, gold, platinum and palladium

@cyrusvariava the electrolysis process seems to be a variation of the Moebius process. first step is removing copper from the bar via a membrane electrolysis cell with dilute sulphuric acid being the clear liquid and copper sulphate being the blue-green one.

second step is aqua regia disolving of anode slime, followed by gold precipitation with ferric sulphate or sodium metabisulphite.

i do not understand the language, i just guessed the above ideas.
