  • ben à part éventuellement la première phrase, personne connaît vraiment les paroles mais on a cnanté beaucoup et longtemps (ici ce n'est qu'en extrait)!

  • And German! I live in Eastbeligum and I speak German! Maar ik kan wel ook Vlaams spreken et je sais aussi parler français! The National Anthem exists also in Flemish (Dutch) But the one that's mostly used is the French one, the Brabançonne! Actually, most of the time they play it without the words, so just as a tune!

  • Belgium has 3 official languages.. Dutch, French and German. Most people speak Dutch or French and a really small part speaks German..

    historically.. French was the language of the rich.. Everyone who was something spoke French, even those that were born in dutch speaking families. The aristocracy spoke french.. So when it came to the anthem, the language was really no doubt at all..

  • in Belgium we speak French and Dutch.

  • If Belgium is Dutch, why was the belgian anthem originaly written in french ?
