  • @BlazeKenny

You are right about the song-thing, but this piece is seperated into an A - part, a B - part an another A - part. The two A - parts is in octaves, shaping the rage, the energi and the power, but the middle B - part is in a slower tempo, some meldodic octaves is used, but its more varieted :)

To me Kim Da Sol is the best!!

Cheers from a young music-lover in Denmark!

  • @J7o7s7e7p7h Firstly its not a song

secondly, the whole piece is in octaves

  • maestra21 you forgot the beginning of the song it lack the Octave beginning

  • @Erik83474 Sadly you'll never hear much in the way of character or melodic shape in his middle section either. Very ordinary stuff indeed.

  • @daytonmlivingston Hi. How about Maurizio Pollini's version of this piece? I was blown away when I heard this piece for the first time in his Chopin Etude recordings. But when I heard Andrei Gavrilov's playing this piece....wow!!

  • 2:22 - 2:51 is absolutely amazing. I have never heard that section played so fast or aggressively in my entire life

  • !MARAVILLOSO!

  • You will NEVER hear any agressive note or sound in his play. Great musician!

  • ...bravo....
