If Khilafa was a success under Allah, then why did Allah allow the "evil" non-Muslims to defeat it?

Pretending that Khilafa is an Islamic responsibility and destiny should mean that Allah would protect such an institution.

Pretending that Khilafah failed because of the rest of the world only deceives Muslims who should realize that it is not divine.
