Domingo and Milnes sing the celebrated duet of Nadir and Zurga from act 1 of the Bizet opera "Les Pêcheurs de Perles". This was the last in a long line of splendid recordings of this duet issued by Victor and later RCA Victor, beginning with Caruso and Ancona in 1907. Clement and Journet, Gigli and De Luca, Bjoerling and Merrill were some of the other great artists who made memorable recordings of this beautiful duet. This recording was originally issued in 1971 on the Domingo/Milnes RCA LP "Great Operatic Duets".
